Land Being Cleared for Construction of Foundation
This week we are excited to announce that the first phase of construction is near at hand. Last week the engineer came to visit the site and the process of clearing the land in that location is already underway. In fact, Fr. Swit himself is even helping with machete in hand cutting down banana trees, avocado trees, and other plants that stand on the future site of the convent.
A trail is also being blazed through the dense area that will allow transport vehicles to come and go bringing in loads of rock, sand, and cement that will be used for the foundation. Thank you so much for your generosity which has made this work possible!
